Former Scotherbs Factory Brought to Market

Ryden has been appointed by Scotherbs to place their substantial 1,995 sq m (21,475 sq ft) food processing and packing factory at Longforgan, by Dundee on the market for lease.  Rental offers in the region of £88,000 per annum are being sought.

Scotherbs vacated the facility earlier this month after declaring it surplus to requirements, although it continues to farm the land adjoining the facility.

The property comprises a modern detached purpose built processing factory with good quality office and staff accommodation, a large processing hall, several walk-in chill rooms, packing and high care preparation areas, covered loading bay and mezzanine floor plant and storage space.  There is also generous car parking for over 40 vehicles.  The factory sits on a total site of 1.87 hectares (4.61 acres) and is ideally located being only three miles from Dundee and immediately adjacent to the Longforgan junction of the A90, which affords easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen.

Andy Boal, associate at letting agent Ryden, commented: “The property provides an outstanding opportunity for companies in the food processing sector to acquire a ready-made processing facility within a few seconds of the A90.  The building provides excellent accommodation, good parking as well as having an extensive array of solar panelling which contributes to reduced energy costs.”
