The V&A at Dundee has reached another exciting milestone with the announcement of Kengo Kuma & Associates as the winning architects.

The impact of this project on the city of Dundee and its surrounding areas must not be under-estimated. Bringing the V&A to Dundee will significantly transform and enhance the short and long-term fortunes of the city and region, and the economic and cultural prospects for its businesses and people. We believe that there are no other projects in Scotland that can generate a bigger or more sustainable long-term return on investment than the V&A. If any project could be described as 'worth every penny' it is this one.

We have written to both Iain Gray MSP and Fiona Hyslop MSP, urging them to ensure that adequate provision for funding is kept in place in the forthcoming budget, despite the necessary cuts that must be made across all parts of the public sector in Scotland.
