President's Welcome

I am very proud and honoured to work with the Chamber Team to serve the members and our partners.

I see my main roles as:

• working with the Board of Directors to maintain good governance
• lobbying UK, Scottish and local politicians on critical business and economic issues
• presenting a high personal profile at local and national events
• leading the interface with our Strategic Partners.
• building relationships with local and national Media, and making sure that business gets the positive profile it deserves for the great job it does.

We know that members are still facing tough times.  The best thing that we can all do is prepare ourselves for the opportunities ahead by making sure we have the people and the resources needed to capitalise on them.

The great news is that our membership continues to grow every month.  We are attracting new members from many different sectors, including the games industry, and they also vary in size and business age, so we continue to have a broad representative mix.

I have always been passionate about the Chamber and its members, and I am truly delighted to be part of the success story that is Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce.
