DACC PRESIDENT HAS FRONT ROW SEAT FOR TROOPING OF THE COLOUR

Chamber President Gary Langlands was the guest of The Secretary of State for Scotland, the Rt. Hon. Jim Murphy, at the recent Trooping of the Colour ceremony in London.The Secretary of State has the use of Dover House, which looks onto Horseguards Parade where the ceremony takes place. It was a real honour for Gary and DACC as we were chosen from all the UK's chambers of commerce to join the Minister and his other guests.  It was, as he told Gary, his pleasure to extend the invitation as he was made to feel very welcome and was treated very well when he visited DACC earlier this year.  Never one to miss an opportunity, Gary asked the Secretary of State to return for another meeting and he readily accepted!
