How can your business collaborate with others to take advantage of the Circular Tayside initiative?
Developing a more circular economy is about reducing waste and energy consumption, improving productivity, making better use of our resources, and creating a more competitive economy. Creating a circular economy in Tayside offers significant opportunities for local businesses, helping future proof their operations, grow new revenue streams and boost profitability.
Circular Tayside has been set up to help local businesses benefit from our fast developing circular economy.
B2B: Circular by Design is a half day event to tell you more about the initiative and bring businesses together to identify new business opportunities.
Learn of the practical support on offer, which includes funded consultancy and access to investment.
Hear from enterprises who have successfully used circular thinking to create new products and services
- Be introduced to creative tools that will help you to think about a new circular business.
B2B: Circular by Design will be facilitated by Open Change in partnership with Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce.
Open Change, a Dundee-based service design and creative facilitation company, works with organisations to develop leadership and the creative capacity to innovate. This year they have delivered events in Barcelona, Athens, Madrid and across Scotland.
Open Change uses a high energy, fast paced approach that draws upon their considerable experience in education, training, design and innovation. “We occasionally push people out of their comfort zones, to see things in new ways and to shift mindsets. We create an environment where people are comfortable taking risks and learning new approaches.”
This year V&A Dundee made Directors Mike Press and Hazel White joint recipients of its Design Champions award "as committed advocates of the power of design to change lives – by giving professionals and communities the tools and confidence to come together to make those changes themselves."
