An experienced commercial lawyer qualified in Scots and English law, Liam’s expertise covers all areas of intellectual property and technology with a particular focus on the IT, education, gamblin g and media sectors. His practice is a mix of commercial transactions, advisory work and dispute resolution.
He joined Thorntons in 2010 from Dundas & Wilson having previously worked in London for leading media firm Harbottle & Lewis and as an in-house media lawyer at ITN. He is currently listed in the Legal 500 as one of Scotland’s leading TMT lawyers where clients report that he is "incredibly bright and direct".
