Jigsaw Media and ©Here are delighted to present a one-day event, “Using other people’s stuff” in the Juniper Auditorium at the iconic V&A Dundee, Scotland’s first design museum. The event will take place on Tuesday 26 march 2019 from 10.15 am until 4.00 pm

Are you concerned that you are using other people’s images correctly?

This one-day event will concentrate on the re-use of images in the digital world and examine the rights and wrongs, the good, bad and ugly of using other people’s images and how this use is affected by and protected by copyright. The conference will also consider the use of image galleries, their terms and conditions and their methods of monitoring the use of their products.

Leading the day’s activities is Bartolomeo Meletti, the Copyright Education Creative Director for CREATe and recently appointed Copyright Services Delivery Manager at Learning on Screen.

The conference will be held in the Juniper Auditorium, located in the V&A Design Museum, an integral part of Dundee’s developing waterfront.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone using, or thinking of using images other than their own to hear about current developments and how best to deal with this challenge. The event also provides the opportunity to visit one of the UK’s most iconic buildings and view the Scottish Design Gallery.

The fee for the event is £90 + VAT per participant to include coffee and pastries on arrival, lunch and all relevant conference papers and presentations.

For the moment, the V&A is one minute from Dundee’s Tay Bridge rail station and there is plentiful car parking within a 5 minute walk to the venue.
