Queensland is Australia’s second largest state geographically (nearly seven times the size of Great Britain) and has the third largest population. The state is encountering significant growth in infrastructure investments as part of its COVID recovery plan including a $520 million Government program to support major private sector investment across the state. Queensland is also in the process of bidding for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Spotlight on Queensland will deep dive into the fastest growing sectors in Queensland, highlighting opportunities to UK companies. The “Opportunities and support within the State” session will provide an chance to hear from key Queensland stakeholders who can assist UK companies in the Queensland market. Senior Government and business speakers will provide further clarity and insight on the opportunities in Queensland.
