Earlier this year the UK Home Office made the announcement that a range of changes were being brought into the UK Immigration Rules, having an impact on work visas and routes for employers to recruit and employ overseas workers.

The changes are currently being phased in and are due to be completed by late August 2022.

Of the 18,000 students at the University of Dundee, 25% are international students representing over 140 countries. Upon completing their education in the City the majority leave, unable to secure employment in the area.

How can employers support the need to retain this talent in Dundee? Are you, as an employer, put off recruiting international colleagues due to the complexity of an employees immigration status?

We're delighted to be partnering with the University of Dundee Careers Service to demystify the challenges employers fear when recruiting.

We'll be joined by experts in Employment Law and Immigration, along with the Universities International Student Adviser and a local employer who will share their experiences.
