✨After some networking, we will celebrate the success of the Kickstart Initiative within the Chamber!✨

The Chamber acted as a Gateway for the Kickstart Initiative, a UK Government scheme providing funding to create new job placements to help 16–25-year-olds get back into the workplace. In these challenging times, DACC regarded this as a call to action for all employers to assist with young employment. This event will culminate all the months the project was running and celebrate some of the fantastic outcomes that the initiative delivered. This event will help celebrate how well our local area assisted the young people.

You can expect us to discuss the successes and difficulties faced during the Kickstart Scheme. Alison Henderson, the Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce CEO, will give a brief overview of this and how the Chamber did as a Gateway for Kickstart.

After some of our Kickstarts, Samuel Mutch (Office Assistant) and Amber Farquhar (International Team Leader) will come up to tell you about their experience with the program and how it went for them, as well as their suggestions for future schemes like this.

We would be delighted to see our members at this event as we would like to share some learnings and, more importantly, honour this scheme's success.
