154 (Scottish) Regiment RLC and the British Army Motorsports Association (BAMA) are organising a multi-venue, multi-phase, safe/skilled, cross-country driving and navigation event to be known as MUDMASTER on 29-30 Oct 22. The event will use a mixture of private land and public roads, starting in Edinburgh and finishing in Glasgow.  
 
The aim of the event is to promote safe and skilled driving, accurate navigation, teamwork and self-reliance in a competitive arena.
 
This event is listed as an Army Sports Control Board (ASCB) authorised fixture and it therefore meets the criteria for public funding for travel to and from the event.  Serving personnel who participate are considered to be on duty when traveling to, participating in, officiating at, or organising authorised events.

The Exercise will start from Redford Cavalry Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 6NQ and will finish at 221 Transport Squadron, 84 Clydesmill Road, Carmyle, Glasgow, G32 6NQ.

The event is open to members of the Armed Forces, who are members of single service motorsports associations and to civilians who are members of the clubs listed in the DIN.
 
Officials will be appointed by BAMA and will be on duty on the day, and the day prior to the event for setting out the courses.
