The Business to Business Showcase will run from 2 pm, and our official networking session will commence at 5.30 pm. You will be welcome to enjoy the hospitality of a local food and drink vendor.

The event will be hosted with MadeAt94, who have teamed up with Cash for Kids and Radio Tay to deliver a Christmas Bauble Trail within Dundee City Centre this year. There are two elements to the Christmas Bauble Trail:
The Window Trail itself involves up to 40 businesses within Dundee City Centre, which will display a small Christmas Bauble in their window. Children will then be given or can download a trail map that they can use to find the baubles, with baubles containing a letter that they write down when found to crack the Christmas code!
Additionally, there is a School Bauble competition in which up to 30 schools will participate in the ‘design a Christmas Bauble’ competition. Larger versions of the Christmas Bauble will be given to each school for them to decorate in any way they like. Once each of the baubles has been decorated, they will be displayed at the Wellgate Shopping Centre during the lead-up to Christmas. Several judges will look at the designs and select their favourite 3, with each of those three schools winning a prize for coming 1st/2nd/ 3rd in the competition.
Radio Tay and MadeAt94 aim for the Christmas Bauble competition to:
- Drive footfall towards the high street, encouraging people to shop locally.
- Create an opportunity to promote local businesses.
- Offer families a free activity that they can do with their children (those who can donate will be encouraged to do so, but it will be free for anyone to do the trail)
- Encourage the children within the local schools to be creative.
- Raise awareness of Cash for Kids and increase support for the Mission Christmas campaign.
About Cash for Kids and Mission Christmas:
Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity helping the children that need it most across the UK.
Their mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in communities affected by poverty, illness, neglect, or additional needs. They believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live full lives.
Cash for Kids works with grass-roots organisations that aim to make a difference in young lives, directly supporting families who often have nowhere else to go.
Times are so tough right now. The cost of living crisis, plus the lingering effects of the pandemic, are pushing local families who were barely managing into poverty.
Christmas is a luxury they can't afford when the choice could be between having enough money for food and heating or buying gifts for their children. Cash for Kids' Mission Christmas is there to help. They ask for support so that they can help provide gifts for children across Tayside & North East Fife who are at risk of waking up to an empty space under the tree on Christmas Day.
⭐If we miss you at this event, we wish you the merriest of Christmases and a Happy New Year!⭐
