Hosted by University of Dundee

Location: Centre for Entrepreneurship - University of Dundee

Date & Time

Wednesday, Feb 22, 2023 at 08:30 - 10:30

This month Productivity Club will focus on innovation in business.
This event is part of the University of Dundee's Entrepreneurship Week and is open to everyone.

This is a joint event with Scottish Council for Development and Industry (SDCI)

Innovation is the secret ingredient of every organisation, without it there is no development or growth.

We will hear from Dr Peter Cridland, Head of Cloud Enablement, Brightsolid about their collaboration with CodeLab, and how this collaboration led them to gain a fresh perspective on the positioning of their Cloud Foundations product within the wider market, and a clearer alignment of their development priorities and direction with market demands. This has enabled an evidence-driven review on Brightsolid vision for the future of the product and how it would best serve both their existing customers and target market.

In the summer of 2022, the Centre for Entrepreneurship completed a pilot stage of activity for CodeLab with the tech company Brightsolid over a span of 10 weeks. To learn more about this initiative, click HERE.

We will also hear from Brian McNicoll, Head of Entrepreneurship, University of Dundee the support that the Centre for Entrepreneurship offers to businesses to innovate and grow.

By innovation we mean the practical implementation of an idea that can result in a new process, strategy or product/service that can contribute to the success of the organisation.
