Highland RFCA is a Central Government Arms' Length Body set up by statute to support Reserves, Cadets and the Armed Forces community across the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. Our Voluntary Membership plays a central role in helping us build relationships and forge understanding between the military and local communities.

45 Commando Royal Marines is an elite amphibious commando unit within the UK Commando Force, known for its capabilities in arctic and mountain warfare. They are based at RM Condor in Scotland and are a battalion-sized unit, capable of a wide range of operations. Primarily tasked as an amphibious commando unit, they are capable of a wide range of operational tasks, including amphibious operations, arctic/mountain warfare, and other special operations.
