About our Panel: 
Tanvir Ahmad, Liberal Democrats candidate for Dundee City East:
Tanvir brings over 20 years of experience leading major projects in the technology and telecoms sectors. He has a proven record of building partnerships with global organisations, bringing new innovations to market, and creating opportunities for growth both at home and abroad. Alongside his professional career, he is a Royal Navy Reservist, a grassroots community campaigner who has managed a youth centre for minority communities, and holds both Honours and Masters degrees in International Relations.

Stephen Gethins, SNP candidate for Dundee City East: 
Stephen Gethins is the Scottish National Party MP for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry, and has been an MP continuously since 4 July 2024. He currently undertakes the roles of Shadow SNP Spokesperson (Scotland), and Shadow SNP Spokesperson (International Affairs).

Angus Macmillan Douglas, Conservatives candidate for Angus South: 
Mr MacMillan Douglas grew up near Glamis before a long career with BP, which included holding senior posts in Africa, Brussels, London and Washington. Mr MacMillan Douglas was a councillor for Kirriemuir and Dean between 2017 and 2022, serving as the local authority’s finance chief when the council had to make savings of more than £40 million due to Scottish Government cuts.

Michael Marra, Labour candidate for Dundee City West: 
In 2017 Michael was elected as a Councillor for the Lochee Ward in Dundee and held the role until 2022, when he stepped down following his election to the Scottish Parliament. In March 2021 Michael was appointed as Scottish Labour's Spokesperson for Education and Skills and on the 10th April 2023, it was announced he was to become Scottish Labour's Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Finance.
