About MVV Environmental: 

MVV Environments partnership with Dundee City Council and Angus Council began in November 2017 when they entered a contract to manage their non-recyclable waste.

The high-efficiency Baldovie EfW CHP Facility diverts 110,000 tonnes of waste from landfill and produces approximately 10 MW of electricity for the national grid.

MVV supports the waste hierarchy and inspires the community to reduce, reuse and recycle their waste through education. This is part of their community benefits programme, focusing on local supplier development, employment and skills activities, environmental awareness-raising and sponsorship.
