In Your Shoes - John MacMillan - MacRoberts

Over the coming months we will be catching up with the team at MacRoberts and finding out a little bit more about them, from how they got into their chosen career to where their favourite holiday destination is.

This month we catch up with -

John MacMillan, Managing Partner

I have the privilege of managing MacRoberts on a day to day basis. I took on this role in October 2014 having already performed the role from early 1998 until late 2005. I joined MacRoberts in 1982 as a litigator and became a full time Employment lawyer later.

I have been a partner since 1986. I reckon I owe the firm much more than it owes me. It’s always been a great place to work, in my opinion, working for excellent clients and with great people. We manage ourselves and aspire to be a very strong Scottish firm, continuing a fantastic heritage and looking to have a sustained future.
