Business View and a beloved’s birthday

I try to spend Monday at home. Most of the day was a mixture of chasing Mr Droogle clients re shoot dates and leads we’ve quoted to plus dipping into Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Lunchtime walk for The Courier included buying a gift & card for my wonderful 82-year-old Aunt Ethna.

Headlines and a haircut

Morning spent at home taking notes to write an article for a new PR client. Early lunch, then off to Fife to do a site visit & quote for possible Mr Droogle client – capturing places & content. Goes well, do quote in car and Send! Had a much-overdue haircut on the way home. Phew – felt like a sheep with a long fleece before!

Top-secret Google project site visit!

Early start to collect Mr Droogle owner Drew Cunningham and head south (can’t say where) for a top-secret Mr Droogle project site visit. Two large buildings to be shot. Key stakeholders from each area show us the planned shoot locations and discuss content. Super-excited by their ideas #watchthisspace. 9am-7pm, so quick snack and head home. Email catch-up and bed!

Road warrior and gardener

(Another) early start to head north for a 9am Mr Droogle pitch meeting and site visit. Write and send quote in car before drafting and sending PR release to a client. Lunch at a nearby supermarket before heading home for some gardening and starting the (huge) secret project quote.

Service and sandwiches

Off to local Skoda garage first thing for routine service. Continue work on secret project quote while I wait. Laptop = essential. On to Perth for lunch meeting at Blend Coffee Lounge with potential Mr Droogle marketing partner. Goes very well. As does lunch – it’s great there! #nomnomnom Head home late afternoon, tea, weekend social scheduling and relaxation.

Shopping and the subconscious

Pop into Forfar for some shopping at local independents and catch up with a couple of Mr Droogle clients about update shoot dates. Home for lunch and my share of the weekly cleaning. Ideas often emerge from my subconscious then. Evening of catch-up TV with Mrs M.

Bookkeeping, tax and TV

Morning entirely taken up with my weekly bookkeeping and paying bills. As I like numbers and order, I rather enjoy it. After lunch, a spot of social and do more work on preparing my 2014/15 tax return before going for a run. Evening devoted to more catch-up TV with Mrs M.
