Dubai Expo
The Scottish Chambers of Commerce network is pleased to invite applications from Scottish businesses for a trade mission to World Expo in Dubai.
Showcase your business to the world - with 190 countries and more than 25million visitors at the World Expo Dubai, it's the opportunity of a lifetime.
This trade mission will give Scottish firms the chance to connect with hundreds of potential new business partners from around the world in a single visit.
The next delegation departs on 20th March 2022 to 27th March 2022 and will focus on the clean energy sector.
The Scottish Female Business Leaders visit to Dubai has been postponed until further notice.
Scottish Chambers is organising three delegations which will guide its businesses through the experience, linking them with the right connections and hand-picking events around topics and themes where our national businesses shine.
Along with the support of 30 local Chambers across Scotland, Scottish Chambers is using its global links through the international Chamber network to set up meetings with carefully matched companies from around the world.
This trade mission is open to any business in Scotland looking to access international markets and companies do not need to be a Chamber member.
£600 + VAT per person.
Into 2022 and building on the COP26 event being held in Glasgow, the focus of the second delegation is tackling climate change and the expertise Scotland can offer.
Having turned world-leading engineering skills to green energy, Scottish businesses can benefit from the strong sustainability theme that runs through the whole event. Some of the world’s most advanced technology is on show, which makes it the ideal stage for Scottish technical innovation.
The final delegation is also on an important topic in which Scotland leads the way: diversity and equality

As part of this trade mission delegates will receive a training workshop before the trade mission with our partners to insights into who they will be meeting with and what to expect when trading with the Netherlands. The mission itself will include market briefings on key opportunities in Rotterdam, sessions with industry specialists and advice on trading with the Netherlands as well as how to set up a business in the region. Virtual networking events with business organisations in Rotterdam; and virtual one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners in the Netherlands, based on your company requirements.
This mission is open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their international trade activity in the Netherlands. Companies do not need to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce.
To participate in the mission, there is a £100 administration fee.
Virginia, USA (Virtual)
Virginia is one of the gateways to the wider USA and is the Top State for business, and one of the leading states across industries. Virginia’s workforce is one of the most productive and educated populations in the country – with 38% of the population having a bachelor’s degree of higher, making it the sixth most educated state in the country (and first in the South).
