ANGUSalive is seeking to appoint an independent Non-Executive Director to its Board of Directors.

The charity is looking for an experienced individual with the vision, drive and enthusiasm, to provide board level strategic oversight and further leadership as ANGUSalive develops and grows into its third full year of operations.

Kenneth Fraser, ANGUSalive Chairperson, commented:

“Whilst experience of cultural, sport or leisure organisations would be beneficial, it is not essential; we’re looking for someone with an interest in the services we deliver which play such an important role in the lives of our customers across all areas of the business. At ANGUSalive, we welcome applications from all and appoint positions to our organisation based on merit; we are committed to promoting diversity through our organisation.”

ANGUSalive would particularly welcome interest from those with experience in change management, business strategy, commercial development, marketing, legal, financial, facilities development, health and safety, income generation, volunteering, arts and culture or heritage.

As a not-for-profit organisation every penny is reinvested back into the services they deliver and the trust have enjoyed a successful 30 months of business-minded direction since the charity was established on 1 December 2015. ANGUSalive’s annual report for 2016/17 captures their first full year in operation and introduces the breadth of culture, sport and leisure services they deliver, with key highlights documented in a selection of case studies.
