The fundraising efforts of staff at the Dundee headquarters of Scottish accountancy firm Henderson Loggie has seen more than £1,800 raised for a charity which provides emergency food and support to local people in need.

Employees baked, walked, dressed up and dressed down to raise money for Dundee Foodbank, part of a nationwide network of foodbanks supported by the Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Last year 9,520 people in crisis received emergency food supplies in the Dundee area.

Fiona Doctor, Henderson Loggie’s HR director, said: “Everyone involved has been so generous in giving up their own time to raise money, and have shown such amazing goodwill in supporting each other’s efforts it makes us even more proud to hand over the money raised for such a deserving cause.”
