The successful candidate will support and work closely with the fee earners in a small but very busy team in Real Estate under the supervision of the Partner. Working both independently and as part of the team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to assist in the provision of a comprehensive service for real estate professionals and business occupiers providing support in a broad range of transactions.
Duties in this role include:
the completion of all LBTT and registration forms required pre and post-exchange and completions
undertaking searches and processing Land Registry fees
dealing with correspondence between solicitors, lenders and clients
the preparation of client fee notes
general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, opening new client files, arranging client meetings and the preparation of legal documents as and when required.
Previous experience in a real estate paralegal role is desirable.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
In addition to being able to demonstrate the relevant expertise as a paralegal, the successful candidate will require excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure juggling a busy and varied workload.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
