New Blaze appointment

Laurencekirk-based Blaze Manufacturing Solutions has appointed Trisha Pirie to the role of Commercial Director.

Trisha brings with her a wealth of experience in leadership roles within oil and gas, education, transport, smart technologies and healthcare sectors. Trisha has a successful track record of delivering significant growth within organisations and will be working with the team at Blaze to deliver on the five-year business strategy.

Trisha joins Blaze from Scottish Enterprise where she specialised in growth strategies. She is also a non-executive Board member with Dundee and Angus College and a trustee of the Dundee and Angus Foundation.
Speaking of the appointment, Finance Director Ann Johnson said, “We are pleased to welcome Trisha to be part of the team here at Blaze.

“Over the past few years, Blaze has changed from being solely in the oil and gas sector to working in new markets such as renewables, mining, commercial and industrial and the public sector. This represents a huge shift change for the company and the next few years will see even more developments in these sectors. Trisha will be instrumental in helping to deliver our diversification and exporting targets.”
