Scottish Enterprise Chairman's Challenge

Published

Are you 18-24? Do you want to be part of a unique opportunity to Stand up for Scotland, have the opportunity to be seen and heard and collaborate with other young leaders from across Scotland on developing Scotland’s economy for the future? #ScotlandisNow #YearoftheYoungPeople.

Take on the Chairman’s Challenge

Would you like the opportunity to use your skills, share your ideas and influence decision-making on economic development in Scotland?  If yes, then we’d love to hear from you.  We’re bringing together 100 young leaders from across Scotland to stand up, be seen and be heard on the future of Scotland’s economy. You will hear from senior leaders within Scottish Enterprise who will challenge you with a real-life economic development topic for Scotland.

You will then be split into groups to share and develop new ideas and offer solutions. You will also hear the perspectives of leaders from across Scotland, and work with a mentor from Scottish Enterprise to develop your group's viable solution before presenting it to a panel of senior leaders with the power to make your ideas happen.

The programme will give you a real and practical experience, enabling you to broaden your horizons and to develop the skills you need to adapt and thrive to diverse situations. The programme is part of Scottish Enterprise’s activity for the Year of Young People and aims to equip you with the tools you need to lead change, now and in the future.

This programme is sponsored by Scottish Enterprise, with reasonable travel and accommodation costs within Scotland also covered.
