Stagecoach launch new day return tickets

Stagecoach East Scotland have announced cheaper day return tickets, to be launched on 20 November, valid across Fife, Dundee, Angus and Perthshire.

The bus company are launching a variety of new day return tickets, which can be purchased from the driver, valid on certain journeys across the East Scotland region.

From Monday 20 November, customers can purchase great value day return tickets, varying from £5 to £8, on journeys from Perth to Edinburgh, Rosyth/Dunfermline to Edinburgh, Kinross to Perth, Dundee to Arbroath and many more for up to 40% off the equivalent dayrider ticket price for the journey.

The introduction of these new tickets will coincide with multiple Stagecoach service changes taking place on the same date.

Paul Thomas, Managing Director, Stagecoach East Scotland said: “We're very excited to announce the introduction of these new day return tickets, especially with the festive season just around the corner. These day return tickets will allow customers to enjoy a great day out with the family for less. We hope the introduction of these new tickets will also benefit commuters getting to and from work day to day and encourage usage of our new and improved services."

The new day return tickets are valid on a selection of busy routes and Stagecoach Express City Connect branded services, which recently celebrated their tenth anniversary.

The Express city connect network represents all the company's coaches operating on express routes across Fife and to destinations such as Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee.
