Dundee’s main bus operator is joining the rest of the city in saying Thank You this weekend to the brave servicemen and women who have given their lives in conflict.

Xplore Dundee is showing its support for Remembrance Day by displaying poppies on all of its vehicles, and will also be showing special destination boards with the message #ThankYou100, to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1.

Bus drivers will observe a two minute silence at 11am on Remembrance Day, Sunday 11th November at 11am. Passengers should expect a brief pause in their journey as drivers will safely pull over their vehicles and stop to allow employees and members of the public to take part in this national moment of reflection.

Xplore Dundee is also supporting Poppyscotland’s efforts and, as always, will be providing free bus travel to veterans, army cadets and other volunteers collecting donations in the city centre in the run up to Remembrance Day.
