An exciting new event for those interested in outdoor activities is taking place in Angus this September. Called Angus Autumn Adventures, the two day festival will give participants the opportunity to take part in activities such as horse riding, wild camping, gorge walking, coasteering and canoeing.

Angus Autumn Adventures, which will take place on 1st and 2nd of September, was officially launched at the Scottish Outdoor Pursuits Show recently. The aim of the festival is to offer participants taster sessions of activities they may not have tried before and at a discounted rate. There's something for everyone, from high adrenaline experiences such as canyoning, to gentle walks in the countryside where you can learn the skills involved in wildlife photography.

Angus Autumn Adventures has been partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund, through a Rural Tourism Business Support Project which aims to deliver an innovative, collaborative, partnership approach to improving tourism products in the East of Scotland.
