Pupils from three primary schools in the west of Dundee have been learning about why it's good to walk, cycle and use the bus, as part of a programme of activity being led by Dundee Travel Active, in partnership with Stagecoach Strathtay.

Pupils from Ancrum Road, Blackness and St Mary's RC primary schools have been participating in interactive workshop sessions run by Dundee Travel Active and supported by Stagecoach Strathtay.

Sarah Longair, Operations Director for Stagecoach Strathtay, said: 'We are delighted to be involved in the activities carried out by Dundee Travel Active again; similar activities carried out last year proved to be successful in showing youngsters how to use public transport responsibly, and combined with work on air quality, can teach them a lot about the environment they live in and what they and their families can do to make a change.'
