Winning more business - help BusinessClub Scotland generate more contract opportunities for Scottish business.

Businesses already winning work from supplying the Scottish events industry, or wanting to do so, are invited to participate in a research project commissioned by BusinessClub Scotland. (www.businessclubscotland.co.uk).

Scottish festivals and events generate almost £1.5 billion per annum in Scotland, entertaining audiences, adding considerable value to Scotland's profile and creating many new contracting opportunities for businesses. BusinessClub Scotland has asked tourism specialists BTS to undertake an independent analysis of how Scottish businesses can access and gain more subcontract opportunities, in the run up to the big events of 2014 (the Ryder and Commonwealth Games) and beyond.

Dundee & Angus Chamber members who have won, or want to win, work from contracts and subcontracts to Scottish festivals and events are being invited to participate in our research:

Event Suppliers: Click on this link if you are interested in winning business: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RZLVF6L

Event Organisers: If you are an event organiser, there's a separate survey at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/RHYJBCQ

BTS will be holding a series of focus groups for Event Organisers and Event Suppliers to understand how supplies and services for events are contracted at the moment.  The focus groups will be held in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Inverness, the provisional dates of the focus groups are:

Glasgow: 4th October
Edinburgh: 5th October
Inverness: 11th October

BTS will be happy to talk to you if you have any questions on the project or are interested in participating in a focus group, please contact Stewart Walker on 0131 625 7040 or via email at stewart@bts-solutions.com.
