Greener Fuel Now Used on all Stagecoach East Scotland Buses

Stagecoach East Scotland plans to reduce its CO2 emissions by up to 22% through the use of cleaner, greener fuel on its entire bus fleet.  The bus operator has introduced a new mix of fuel to each of its 530 buses and coaches across Fife, Dundee, Angus and Perthshire. The new B30 fuel system uses a specially blended mix of 30% biofuel and 70% standard diesel and will reduce the company's impact on the environment.

Stagecoach East Scotland Managing Director Charlie Mullen said: 'We are constantly striving to make our business more sustainable and we believe the introduction of this greener biofuel will make a real difference to our carbon footprint as a company.'
