Award to recognise a specific example of partnership working between education and the business community.
Angus Council's annual Partnership Recognition Event is to be held in June of this year. The event aims to celebrate, acknowledge and publicise the excellent education-employer partnerships that exist within Angus.
During this event a presentation will be made to a number of local employers and partner organisations in recognition of the extremely valuable contribution they make to schools within Angus to provide a context for learning whilst helping with the development of skills for learning, life and work.
As part of this, Angus Council are now inviting nominations for the Partnership Excellence Award 20112/13. Nominations for this award will be welcomed from schools, business partners and associated organisations.
Five entries will be short-listed for consideration by a panel of judges, with the winner being announced at the Partnership Recognition Event.
This award will recognise both the school/cluster and the partner employer(s). A certificate will be awarded in recognition of all short-listed nominations and the winning entry will receive a commemorative trophy for the school/cluster and the partner involved.
