Angus College hospitality students' delicious menu.

Angus College mealHospitality students from Angus College received a standing ovation this week after producing a dinner fit for winners at Forfar Reid's hall. The Hospitality team, which included a mix of students from all years, provided catering for this year's Angus Sports Awards. Over 200 guests and VIPS sampled the sophisticated menu, which included 'Arbroath smokie and smoked salmon terrine', something of a signature dish for the College.

Front of house was a team of predominately 1st year students who provided an excellent service. So good, in fact, the Provost of Angus invited them to the stage for a standing ovation and 'thank you' from the event organiser.

Curriculum Manager, Neil Jack says 'I'm really proud of both the lecturers and the students. This is the biggest test in catering, producing top quality food under pressure for a large number of people. In my opinion, they couldn't have done it better.'
