Students celebrate Tartan Day with Scottish photographs.

Highland cowAngus College Students are celebrating Scotland's Tartan Day Festival with an exhibition of photographs at Arbroath Abbey. The festival marks the signing of the 'Declaration of Arbroath' in 1320 at the Abbey and upholds all that is wonderful about Scotland. The exhibition, which includes over 100 photos from College students and runs from the 29th March to the 14th April.

They'll include Scottish themed works like 'Heilin' Coos' by Norma McCafferty, who is undertaking the Still Images Editing Using Photoshop Elements at the Forfar Learning Centre.

Lecturer, Kay Nicol says 'It's a great example of the good quality work being produced at the Digital Photography and Still Images Classes at College learning centres across Angus.  They're some of the most popular classes and they give people the confidence to take great photos be it at work or at home with family and friends.'

The next batch of these part time classes including the new Digital Technologies & new Interactive Internet, Webwise and PC Passport: IT Systems will start again in mid-April. To book a place please contact Karen Cargill on 01241 432724.
