New Managing Director for Triage Central Ltd

Founder steps down from day-to-day running.

Grace Kennedy, Triage MDGrace Kennedy has been appointed Managing Director of Triage Central Ltd. She takes over from Kate Carnegie MBE, who founded the company that delivers welfare to work programmes in Scotland and the north-east of England. Although Ms Carnegie will no longer be involved in the day-to-day running of Triage, as owner of the Dynamus Group, she will retain ownership of Triage, the company she set up in 1998.

Ms Kennedy has a wealth of experience in developing major employment initiatives across Scotland and the UK, and joined Triage Centre Ltd as operations director in December 2012. After a 25 year career as a Senior Civil Servant, Ms Kennedy was deputy director at Jobcentre Plus Scotland between 2003 and 2006 before taking up the position of director at Jobcentre Plus North West England where she was responsible for budgets in excess of £400m. 

Commenting on the announcement, Ms Kennedy paid tribute to her predecessor and said she was looking forward to her challenging new role with the company. 'Although I've only been with Triage six months, I've been hugely impressed by the company Kate has built up over the years. This is a new chapter in the life of Triage and I am confident that the dedicated team of people here can move forward in a way that will make Kate proud of the company she has so passionately developed.'
