Avian Communications and Blue Square have come together to form one of the country\'s largest agencies.
Avian Communications and Blue Square will join forces with immediate effect and will form Avian Communications Network with two divisional companies - Avian Communications and Blue2 Digital. The new firm will immediately rank in the top ten creative agencies in Scotland with a staff count of twenty-six.
Scott McCallum, who becomes Managing Director of the enlarged group, explains, \'Avian Communications and Blue Square had congruent skill sets and client bases. Avian\'s core business is brand development, graphic design, marketing literature, exhibitions and advertising. Blue Square\'s team is well known for its award winning digital work. Both companies had plans for further growth and expansion, and with little overlap in our client bases, it seems a natural fit for us to team up as one new group with an increased offering for current and new clients. There are significant benefits for both companies and for both companies\' clients in the newly merged group.\'
Avian Communication Network plans ambitious growth. Initially operating from Avian\'s Broughty Ferry base, the company is already seeking additional premises in Aberdeen. There are also plans to add to the staff count with recruitment underway for new account managers and web development personnel.
