Upcoming Temporary Traffic Orders

Dee Gardens and Etive Gardens

Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose of facilitating City Fibre duct installation works. The Order is expected to be in force for 3 weeks from 15 February 2021 . Its maximum duration in terms of the Act is eighteen months.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Dee Gardens between Etive Gardens and Forth Crescent and (2) Etive Gardens between Dee Gardens and Charleston Drive.

Alternative routes will be available via (1) Etive Gardens, Charleston Drive and Forth Crescent and (2) Dee Gardens, Forth Crescent and Charleston Drive.

 

Loftus Road Area

Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose of facilitating City Fibre duct installation works.  The Order is expected to be in force for 3 weeks from 15 February 2021.  Its maximum duration in terms of the Act is eighteen months.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Loftus Road between Loftus Place and Baldovan Road, (2) Loftus Road between Loftus Street and Baldovan Road and (3) Pitcairn Road between Pitempton Road and Baldovan Road.

More than one section may be closed at any time.

Alternative routes will be available via (1) Loftus Road and Baldovan Road, (2) Loftus Road and Baldovan Road and (3) Pitempton Road, Harestane Road and Baldovan Road.


Castle Street and Crichton Street


Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose of facilitating the use of the Caird Hall, Dundee as a mass vaccination centre. The Order is expected to be in force for 26 weeks from 17 February 2021. Its maximum duration in terms of the Act is eighteen months.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic from waiting at any time (1) on the west side of Crichton Street for its entire length from its junction with High Street to its junction with Whitehall Crescent and (2) on Castle Street for its entire length except for blue badge holders.
