EU Settlement Scheme – help make sure no-one misses out

Almost 8,000 EU citizens in Dundee have already applied to the EU Settlement Scheme to secure their rights to live, work and use public services in the UK but help from the business community is required to make sure that no-one misses out, including anyone who might be unaware of the scheme or unable to apply without assistance. This might include people who are older, have disabilities, are vulnerable in some way or perhaps don’t have English as their first language. Closing date is 30th June 2021

Applications for settled status are free. Applicants need to prove their identity, show they live in the UK and declare any criminal convictions. Applications have to be made online, using a PC, tablet or smart phone, on the GOV.UK website at www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families.
