The sun’s set to be shining in Angus and Dundee this Friday (28 May, 2021), so Stetsons and stilettos at the ready folks as the Country Music Drive-In Show rolls back to Monikie Country Park!

Featuring a host of top Irish Country Stars that include Mick Flavin, Stephen Smyth, Barry Kirwan and Gary Gamble who will each be accompanied by the fabulous Keltic Storm band.

Following a successful similar show last September promoters JMG Music Group in association with ANGUSalive have put together this exciting event that will see the return of live music in a fun but safe environment adhering to covid-19 regulations at the given time.

James McGarrity who heads up Irish based JMG Music Group said: "There is a big appetite for people to get back out and enjoy live music events of which has been sorely missed now for over a year with the pandemic. We have been delighted with the support we receive from right across Scotland for all our shows over the last number years and we are very much looking forward to returning at the end of May to Monikie Park which is the ideal setting for an event of this type. It has a picturesque back drop and natural amphitheatre feel to it with all the amenities so we really couldn't have selected a better location and I thank Audrey Hood from Angus Alive and all her team for helping to get the event across the line" .

Tickets are still available for the Country Music Drive In show online from www.wegottickets.com/event/513012 or call Joan Keith on 07786086512. So keep Friday 28 May free in your diary as all Country Roads are bound for Monikie Park!
