CJ Lang & Son Ltd, the leading Scottish wholesaler and convenience retailer, has appointed Steve Irons as its new Wholesale & New Channels Director. The new role reflects the company’s ambition with Steve taking up responsibility for leading the development and growth of CJ Lang’s presence in the wholesale and food services markets.
Irons has over 26 years’ experience in the wholesale, foodservice, convenience and FMCG sectors and joins CJ Lang & Son from Booker Wholesale Foods where he heads up the wholesale channel with Best Food Logistic.
Irons has worked with several businesses throughout his career having started with CJ Lang & Son, before joining Bestway in 2010 as their Foodservice Contracts and Key Account Manager. He moved to Booker in 2016, working as a National Account Controller and Business Development.
