The Arbikie team are truly honoured to have won Scottish Family Business of the Year 2021.
This is such a great achievement and calls for a BIG celebration! Arbikie Distillery has come so far since being founded by the Stirling brothers just over six years ago and we can't wait to see what the next few years will bring!
Acceptance speech by Iain Stirling, founder of Arbikie Distillery:
"On behalf of the Stirling family and all the team at Arbikie, we are delighted to win. It’s an amazing award and a real honour to be nominated alongside so many special businesses, and to win is incredibly special – so thank you. We were very lucky, as the brothers that own Arbikie, to inherit our family farming business from our mum and dad and through their hard work, to be able to build the sustainable field to bottle distillery that is Arbikie, up in Scotland’s sunny East Coast. We are very lucky to have great distillers and a great team … We have the world’s only climate positive gin, Nàdar, we distil the world’s only Rye Scotch Whisky, so I suppose it’s very appropriate if I have a quick dram of our Highland Rye … Sláinte”
