Ace Aquatec To Showcase Their Latest Innovative Research & Development At This Year's Aqua Nor

Scottish-headquartered aquaculture and technology specialist, Ace Aquatec, is one of few UK companies who will be exhibiting at the world’s largest aquaculture technology exhibition due to the business’s growing Norwegian presence.

Winners of the Aqua Nor innovation award for its humane electric fish stunners, Ace Aquatec will be showcasing and sharing the latest developments in fish stunners and biomass cameras at its digital and physical stand. This revolutionary system has been designed with stereoscopic imaging, 3D time of flight imaging, and multifrequency sonar imaging, to provide accurate biomass readings and is committed to the highest welfare standards.

In attendance from Ace Aquatec will be the Norwegian team which has grown since the office opened last year. This includes Preben Imset Matre, Regional Manager for Northern Europe, who has seen a strong demand in Norway for Ace Aquatec’s electric in-water stunning devices that improve animal welfare at slaughter and biomass camera system.

Preben Imset Matre, Regional Manager for Northern Europe, said: “Aqua Nor is such an important date in the aquaculture calendar, so we’re looking forward to being able to showcase all the latest solutions and breakthrough developments we’ve been working on.”

Nathan Pyne-Carter, Chief Executive of Ace Aquatec, added: “The pandemic has allowed us to fast- track our research and development and streamline our product processes. Those attending Aqua Nor will get a clear insight into what we do and where we’re heading as well meeting our Norwegian team in person.”
