Hoping to bring golden success to Tayside, The Malting House Limited are finalists in two categories at this year’s Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB) National Business Awards.
In a shortlist announced last week, the team of four have been recognised as one of the Most Enterprising Businesses and as a High Growth Business of the Year. The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on Sunday 26th September 2021.
The Malting House was also recently named 'Best SME Marketing Advisory' (Eastern Scotland) in the fourth annual Scottish Enterprise Awards 2020, and 'Best Hospitality Brand Development Specialists - Scotland' in the 6th Annual Hospitality Awards.
This is recognition of the success of the business, which has expanded its services from offering pure graphic design and traditional print materials to copywriting, marketing support, social media management and website design. That expansion placed them in good stead to support clients over the past eighteen months, as many organisations sought to improve their online presence.
In turn, the team has expanded over this period, recruiting new members with expertise in design and communications. And in April this year, the business moved from Sole Trader to Limited Company status, with Debbie Hutchison moving to a Director role, recognising her expertise and contribution to the business’ growth.
The Malting House counts many Tayside businesses and organisations amongst its clientele including Axis Shield, Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce and Gleneagles Hotel.
Located in Dundee’s Cultural Quarter and Perth’s Creative Exchange, The Malting House also supports clients from Cornwall to Aberdeenshire as well as a growing international clientele. The company has already earmarked several areas for further expansion and diversification including amination and digital marketing training.
