McGill awarded multi-trade contract from new client Falkirk Council

Top Dundee-based main contractor McGill has been awarded an ongoing multi-trade contract to refurbish void properties, from new client Falkirk Council.

The contract, which will see McGill’s Trades Division refurbish hundreds of void properties owned by Falkirk Council, will be worth up to £900,000 per year.

McGill’s reputation as the partner of choice for many housing associations, council, and other public sector organisations across Scotland continues to grow, as it adds new clients to its growing portfolio, including both Clackmannanshire Council and Viewpoint Housing Association in recent weeks.

Speaking of the contract win, McGill Managing Director Errol Lawrie commented; “McGill is enjoying a period of sustainable growth, and we’re extremely pleased to be adding another new client to our portfolio. Our reputation as a trusted partner to public sector bodies is cemented, and we can be sure that this is an important factor in many of our recent successful contract awards.”

McGill Commercial Director, Douglas Smith added; “We’re delighted to have been awarded this contract from Falkirk Council. It’s a testament to our reputation for all-trades expertise, as we know that few Scottish contractors can match our breadth of services. McGill is growing at an impressive rate, and with every new contract we’re laying the foundations for many successful years to come. We always knew there would be a post-pandemic boom in the construction industry, and we are perfectly poised to capitalise on the growing need for refurbishment specialists with a genuine all-trades offering.”
