Local charities offered the chance to turbo charge their marketing

Charities across the North-east are being given an exciting opportunity to grow their marketing skills thanks to a leading local creative business.

Due North Creatives, based in Montrose, has launched the exciting Navigator programme for small businesses spending 14 weeks learning from founder Amanda Inglis and her team of experts in all areas of marketing, design, communications, digital, and photography.

With so many small businesses and third sector organisations struggling because of the ongoing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, a spot on the exclusive programme is being given away to one lucky charity.

Amanda, who founded the business in 2016, said that her whole ethos is to empower others to take control of their business so that it can enable them to live the life they dream of.

She said: “It may seem counterintuitive for a creative agency to give away the secrets of the trade, but I watch far too many small businesses pour resources down the drain, as they try and stay on top of the next marketing hype without having key marketing foundations in place - this all means that their hard work doesn’t convert into sales.”

“Marketing is often seen as some sort of dark art, when in reality much of it is common sense and a passion for what you are doing. It is my intention that through Navigator we can simplify marketing for small businesses and start-ups and help them accelerate their route to success.

“With Covid still having an impact, it seemed obvious to us that we give a space on Navigator away to a worthy third sector organisation that could really benefit from it and we look forward to reading the applications.”

Charities interested in taking advantage of this offer are asked to visit www.yourduenorth.com/givingback  and submit an application before midnight on the 8th September, the key question being ‘How will Navigator benefit your charity and the community you serve?’

Navigator starts on September 13th and runs for 14 weeks, and includes: Weekly marketing lessons via zoom, supporting workbook exercises, membership to the Navigator community along with accountability and support for a further 3 months following the course, plus lots lots more.

For other businesses looking to take part, a place on the course costs £495 +VAT. It’s the first time Due North have run the marketing course, however the framework has been created over the past 5 years servicing their clients and it has always generated great results.
