Sparkle Magic Events Becomes an Award Winning Business

Sparkle Magic Events is a venue decor business and we provide decor for weddings, parties, charity events, corporate events and much more and we are one of the best in the area. Back in January I was contacted by Prestige Awards to notify me that I had been nominated for an award and would I like my business to be considered for the shorlisiting process.

Naturally I agreed and submitted the information that was required and I thought nothing more of it. A few months later I recieved another email asking when would be the best time to call me and on what number as they would like to speak to me. Again I gave them all the relevant information and wondered what they could possibly want to speak to me about.

All of this was taking place during the pandemic, which as with many other businesses my business has been hit incredibly hard with all events stopping and very few weddings taking place and if truth be told it was affecting me more than I wanted to admit. It is not a nice feeling having people's jobs on your shoulders and wondering each month if your business is going to survive yet another difficult month. 

So when I was out with my daughter during the Easter holidays and my phone rang, I answered it and it was Prestige Awards on the phone. The conversation started with asking how I was and if business was getting any better or not for me. After a minute of to Srina said that there was a very special reason for her call and that was to inform me that I was the winner of the Prestige Award for Wedding Product Hire Service of the Year - Scotland. It took a few seconds for it to sink in what she was telling me, and then I don't mind admitting that I started to cry. This phone call could not have come at a better time and gave me the boost that I needed. 

After a few months I was invited to attend an award presentation and photograph day at Norton House Hotel in Edinburgh. So on Thursday 2nd September myself and my employee, Lois, headed through to Edinburgh to recieve the award and certificate. To now have the award in my possenssion really is the best feeling and the boost that my buisiness needs and even if I do say so myself, deserves. It is an amazing feeling to now be able to adverise my business as an Award Winning Business. I have worked so hard since I founded it in 2016 and these last 18 months have been so incredibly tough. But with this award the tide is turning and I am even more proud of my business than I have ever been and here's hoping that this is the first of many awards!!

Winning the Prestige Award has given me what I need to keep going and to continue to grow and develop my business and get Sparkle Magic Events name out there and on the map for every type of event!!
