Jessica's room - Introductions!

I thought it was about time you met the face behind Jessica’s Room. My names is Laura and I started Jessica's Room only a few short months ago. Jessica’s Room took its name from my grandmother, she taught me if you put your mind to something and work hard anything is achievable. 
 
I wear many hats, I started of my working life as a nurse, twenty something years ago, specialising in Oncology. Complementary therapies had always been an interest of mine, and I knew one day I would turn that interest into a career. Along the way I have picked up skills and interests which have developed and  allowed me to  add them to my skill base.  One of my passions is my Reiki. I found Reiki purely by accident, although as time has gone on I am more convinced Reiki found ME.
 
I have three children who are my greatest achievements. They have taught me patience and understanding, for which I am grateful. I have both family and friend that offer support, which is invaluable.  
 
I am a fully certified and insured therapist. My work ethic is inclusive, reliable and trustworthy. Within Jessica’s I have created a safe, quiet space for men, women and children, which allows them to experience a range of therapies and treatments. An important part of Jessica's Room despite being within a busy hair salon is that it is also open to clients with additional support needs who often benefit from a calmer environment during treatments. When the idea of Jessica’s room was developing in my head it was important that people from all walks of life with or without disabilities would be able to access the treatments I offer.
 
I hope to one day see you all visit Jessica’s room and experience one of the many treatments on offer. Until then in the words of Tabitha Brown….HAVE THE MOST AMAZING DAY!
