The Perth head-quartered independent PR and Marketing agency, Volpa, has today announced it has rebranded as the Cunningly Good Group as the company looks to mark 20 successful years in business.

In a statement announcing the rebrand on social media, they said their new name is “reflective of our brand heritage and captures our bold growth ambition to deliver cunningly good marketing services to our clients.”

The organisation was founded by entrepreneur, Tricia Fox, in Perth in 2002 and will celebrate its 20th anniversary next September. She commented on the decision to rebrand:

“In what will be our 20th anniversary year, our new brand marks a fresh start to our next decade of trading and a bold statement that we offer a quality of service that is precisely what it says on the tin: cunningly good.

“While the last 18 months have been challenging for us as a business, the pandemic also shone a light on the range of services we offered, prompting us to rethink how our brand needed to better reflect their quality, depth and reach. Our talented award-winning team remain the backbone of the Cunningly Good Group, a cohort of exceptional agency professionals with around 150 years’ collective experience in delivering marketing services.”

The company has now organised itself into four specialist teams, delivering focussed services within a single blended agency structure, to encompass strategy, communications, design, and websites.

Chartered Marketer, Stephen Gorton, will head up the Cunningly Good Strategy business unit, while Emma Davies, an Accredited PR Practitioner, will lead the Cunningly Good Communications division which has recently won a slew of new client contracts. Branding expert, Gordon Low, will spearhead Cunningly Good Design, building on the agency’s heritage of producing award winning design. Cunningly Good Websites will continue to be led by Kim Bauchope, who oversaw its launch in 2018 and has been responsible for the successful growth of this part of the business, seeing it scale to around 100 websites under management.

Fox commented: “It is testimony to the robust insight of our whole team that they have been able to take what might have been catastrophic and create something new and dynamic. We are seeing a rapid uptick in clients looking for our highly specialist and strategic advice, particularly as the long-term impact of the pandemic continues to reveal itself. As businesses look to recover and respond to seismic market changes and unique communications challenges, they are tapping into our experience and understanding of complex marketing and communications issues.”
