Gary Grant has been appointed Director of Operations at Dundee-based technology company Hutchison Technologies.
In this important role, Gary will be responsible for leading and overseeing all operations. He will help the company to realise its ambitious growth plans by improving business process, performance and productivity.
Gary joins Hutchison Technologies from Insights Learning and Development, where he was responsible for global sourcing, production, fulfilment and logistics.
He said: “I have been extraordinarily fortunate to have worked with Insights for an extended period, but it was time for a fresh challenge. I was aware Hutchison Technologies was recruiting and once I knew there were opportunities in the Operations side of the business, I jumped at the chance to discuss the details with Mark and Bruce.
“I’m inspired and excited by the people I’ve met, the drive to build on everything that has been achieved so far, and the vision for the future.”
Starting out in Telecoms and Data Installation and Maintenance Services, before moving into Audio Visual, Feature Lighting and Access Control, Hutchison Technologies now works with leading brands in the Health and Fitness, Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sectors, delivering products, services and solutions in the UK, and overseas.
The company diversified into Software and Electronic products R&D, Global Logistics and Supply Chain management capability from 2007, and a range of marketing-leading Smart Energy products from 2013.
