Temporary Traffic Order - Stobsmuir Area

Dundee City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose of facilitating City Fibre cable installation works. The Order is expected to be in force for 19 days from 7 February 2022. Its maximum duration in terms of the Act is eighteen months.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic in (1) Wortley Place for its entire length, (2) Rennel Road between Loraine Road and Pitkerro Road, (3) Loraine Road between Rennell Road and Anstruther Road, (4) Loraine Road between Old Craigie Road and Renell Road, (5) Nairn Street between Clepington Road and Martin Street and (6) Milner Street between Clepington Road and Nairn Street.

Only one road will be closed at any time.

Alternative routes will be available via (1) Pitkerro Road and Dalkeith Road (with local access maintained for Dalkeith Road), (2) Pitkerro Road, Anstruther Road and Loraine Road, (3) Anstruther Road, Pitkerro Road and Rennell Road, (4) Old Craigie Road, East Dennison Road and Rennell Road, (5) local access only and (6) Clepington Road and Nairn Street.
