Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce (DACC) have today (Monday 23 May) launched their Chamber Business Champion Awards for 2022. The awards, which are open to members of DACC, will see businesses across the region compete to be crowned the winner in one of four categories; Net Zero, Future Skills, Digital Innovation and Future Workplace.
The awards, sponsored by Michelin Development Ltd, Zero Waste Scotland, Castle Water, Zettle by PayPal and Spaces Taylored, aims to highlight those businesses who are championing the region, working with local partners, helping to boost the economic impact across the region whilst supporting their current and future workforce, investing in technology to create a more efficient workplace and working towards Scotland’s 2045 Net Zero targets.
Laura Rhoney, COO, Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce said:
“We are delighted to be launching our second Chamber Business Champion Awards. We were overwhelmed by the interest in the Awards in what is its very first year in 2019, unfortunately COVID got in the way, like it did for us all, so we are back and excited to see the entrants this year. We encourage all our members to consider entering no matter their sector, size or type of organisation, we know we have some real hidden gems out there and it’s your time to shine.
I'm personally looking forward to judging the awards, maybe not the hard task of getting to our final 3 for each category though.

Nominations for the awards will close on Friday 24 June with finalists announced on Wednesday 6 July. Members of the public will be able to vote on who they want to win when the public voting opens on 11 July. The winner of each of the 4 categories will be crowned at the Chamber Champions Lunch being held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel on Thursday 8 September with one business from the four also scooping the overall winner.
